More and more people in Lismore are being admitted to hospital, struck down with the flu.
However, the local health network says there’s no cause for panic – the sudden spike is not uncommon this time of year.
“It’s expected for this time of year, there is a lot of influenza A about and we still recommend people go see their GP and get vaccinated,” said Ian Hatton, General Manager at Lismore Base Hospital
