Australia’s Jason Doyle has retained eighth spot, in the Speedway GP world series, despite missing out on the finals at the latest round in Sweden.
The 2017 world champion failed to finish higher than second in any of his heats.
In contrast it was a great night for fellow Aussie Max Fricke, who started as an injury replacement rider and made it all the way to the decider.
