The Hunter Hurricanes will start their Australian Water Polo Series finals campaign at Sydney Olympic Park later on Friday.
The men’s side has had a solid year so far, finishing fourth after the regular season.
They’ll battle fifth-placed club – defending champions Sydney Uni – at 8pm.
The Hurricanes have beaten the Lions twice this season.
