A man has suffered suspected spinal injuries after he was dumped by a wave on the Central Coast.
The 63-year-old was swimming at Kilcare Beach at around 10 o’clock on Sunday morning, when he was pulled from the water.
He was initially treated by an off-duty doctor as well as local surf life savers, before paramedics arrived.
He was then airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
