A 63-year-old woman has been treated for chest injuries, after she fell from a horse on the state’s Mid North Coast.
It’s understood the woman was riding on a property at Mount George, west of Taree, when the accident happened.
The region’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the property, with the woman set to be transported to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
She’s reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
