A man has been charged more than two months after allegedly lighting a number of grass fires around Inverell.
On August 22 and 23, a number of blazes were sparked around Borthwick Street, Rifle Range Road, Mcilveen Lookout and Copeton Dam Road.
Fortunately, no one was injured and no property lost.
The man faces five charges in total and has been granted bail to face court later this month.
