THREE CHARGED OVER TWO NORTH COAST POLICE PURSUITS
A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old man have been arrested after a police pursuit in the state’s north.
The pair were arrested at Ross Lane at Lennox Head on Saturday, after police deployed road spikes to stop the car they were travelling in.
Both were taken to Ballina Police Station and charged with a string of offences including stealing a motor vehicle.
They’ll face court later today.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy was arrested at Banora Point near Tweed Heads on Sunday following a pursuit from Lennox Head.
He was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station, with a number of items believed to be stolen located.
Inquiries into the stolen goods are continuing.
The teenager will face a children’s court later today.
