Port Macquarie’s Marine Rescue squads were kept busy during last night’s storm.
They were called out to rescue three people on-board a broken down tinny, upstream in the Hastings River.
Then at around five o’clock this morning, volunteers helped a large New Guinea patrol ship safely cross the bar into the river system.
