A 39-year-old man has been arrested, after a police pursuit which involved a 13-year-old passenger at Lake Macquarie.
Police attempted to pull over a Holden Commodore, after detecting it had stolen number plates, on Main Road at Cardiff at around 11 o’clock last night, when it failed to stop.
A pursuit was commenced, with the driver attempting to flee the vehicle on Watkins Street at West Wallsend.
He was arrested nearby, while a 13-year-old boy who was in the back seat was found uninjured.
The driver was charged with a string of offences, and is set to face court later today.
