A 26 year-old man has been charged, after allegedly vandalising the Gipps Street playing fields in Tamworth overnight.
Police will allege a vehicle performed donuts on the sporting field around 1:30am, causing some surface damage.
Police used CCTV of the incident to help track down the alleged vandal.
The man will face court in August.
