Charges have been laid against a 47-year-old man, who allegedly threatened a camper north of Glen Innes last week.
Officers have been told an 18-year-old was camping on a property on Strathbogie Road at Wellingrove, when he was threatened by a man carrying a rifle.
Police investigations led to the arrest of the 47-year-old at an Ashford address yesterday. He has charged with assault with a firearm and trespass offences.
He was refused bail to face Inverell Local Court tomorrow.
