Redhead’s Isak Costello has recorded his best result this season, at the sixth and final round of the national ironman series.
He survived the first test and was in position to qualify for the final after the board leg in the 12-man elimination race.
He dropped back on the ski to finish 10th overall.
Clubmate Dan Collins later grabbed fourth in the men’s swim.
