Three-time World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss is preparing for his comeback to racing in the Australian series, this week conducting testing at Phillip Island.
At 48, Bayliss admits it’s been an uphill battle.
The Taree-bred rider, now based on the Gold Coast, last competed in the Australian Championship in 1997, and he’s under no illusions about his chances.
