A Newcastle townhouse has been gutted by fire.
Fire and Rescue crews were quickly on scene at the Popran Road property as smoke blanketed the neighbourhood at around 1.30 this afternoon.
Several occupants were accounted for and received minor first aid.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
