Police are appealing for public assistance to find a prisoner who has escaped from the Glen Innes Correctional Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Blake Levi was last seen just before 3pm on Tuesday at the minimum security facility.
The 27-year-old is described as being of Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 170cm tall with a medium build, and short brown hair.
Police are warning members of the public not to approach the man, but to call triple zero immediately.
