A teenager has been the subject of a dramatic arrest in Newcastle, over a pursuit through Port Stephens.
Officers say they stopped a Holden sedan at Medowie in relation to outstanding warrants, when the driver reversed into an officer, and fled the scene.
Vision obtained by NBN News shows the moment two passengers were arrested at Mayfield, after the car ground to a halt.
Police then chased the driver on foot.
A 19-year-old man was later arrested and taken to hospital with minor injuries… the two passengers were released without charge.
