Police say a fire, which destroyed an Armidale family’s home on the weekend, was sparked by a toddler who was playing with a lighter.
Emergency services were called to the Eva Place property shortly before 8pm on Friday.
Firefighters worked to save the home, but it was destroyed.
The family of four were treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns.
