A woman has died in a boat collision on the Gold Coast.
Police say around 5:30pm yesterday, a tinny turned into the path of a large cruiser near Couran Cove at Broadwater causing the two boats to collide.
A 33-year-old Brisbane woman in the smaller boat died at the scene.
A second person on the smaller boat, a 41-year-old man, received a head injury and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
No one on the larger vessel was injured.
