Close to six-and-a half thousand submissions objecting to the Narrabri Gas Project were hand-delivered to the Department of Planning yesterday.
Community groups from around the state, submitting detailed responses to Santos’ Environmental Impact Statement.
Due to the large interest in the project, the state government extended the initial submission period by 28 days.
The public now has just nine days left to have its say, with final responses to be accepted on May 22.
