The Newcastle under-18 rep side’s quest to win the Country Championship has been put on hold.
The Novocastrians trained last night in preparation for a final against the Western Rams at Cessnock this Saturday.
But officials have now postponed the decider due to the East Coast Dolphins being unable to travel from Northern New South Wales for the under-16 final.
The rescheduled date and venue will be decided tomorrow.
