The local Rural Fire Service is preparing to wrap up one of the busiest fire seasons in recent times.
Since July last year, the RFS has attended 16-hundred incidents across the Lower Mid Coast region.
From Friday, fire permits will no longer be required.
Despite the end of the fire danger period, the public must still notify neighbours and their local fire authority when conducting hazard reduction burns.
