Police from the Manning-Great Lakes command honoured their own today at an official awards ceremony in Taree.
More than 40 officers were recognised for their bravery and commitment to the force.
“It is really the only opportunity has to say formally and officially in front of friends and family, thank you for your professionalism, dedication and service to your community,” Superintendent Peter Thurtell from Manning-Great Lakes Police said.
Senior Constable Dennis Reid was among the the recipients, awarded for 35 years of service.
