The Mid North Coast cricket Premier League is all but certain to go ahead next season.
Eleven teams have nominated for the competition – including five from the Hastings, four from the Manning and two from the Macleay.
Starting in October, the league will replace the local first grade fixtures, in a bid to strengthen the game.
The Mid North Coast Cricket Council will meet again in May to fine-tune the details.
