10 world tour surfers will compete for their clubs at this weekend’s Battle of the Boardriders national final in Newcastle.
Women’s world champion Tyler Wright will represent Culburra, Snapper Rocks boasts Joel Parkinson and Stephanie Gilmore, while Avoca has Matt Wilkinson and Adrian Buchan.
Hunter clubs will take part in trials on Friday, hoping to join Merewether in the decider.
