The Tamworth Country Music Festival is just eight days away, and the Riverside camping grounds have been officially opened to revellers today.
Some eager campers have even been set up since New Years, in anticipation for the north west’s biggest event.
More than a thousand sites are expected to be filled throughout the 10 days, with nearly 150 pre-purchased.
As a result of the campers, Carter Street will be shut between Plain and Bridge Streets from 7am, until the end of the festival.
