A teenager has been charged with firearms offences after police allege they discovered a loaded pistol, ammunition and throwing knives in his car.
The discovery was made during a police search of a Toyota Hilux on Union Street, South Lismore at 2.30pm yesterday.
The 17-year-old was taken to Lismore Police Station and charged with a number of offences, including possessing an unregistered firearm.
