Residents at Umina on the Central Coast are on high alert tonight, as a bushfire burns out of control, north of Patonga.
A wind change is moving through the area… there are concerns it may cause the flames to flare.
Firefighters have been working to contain the blaze, which is at Watch and Act level, with help from above.
The main road into Patonga remains closed.
