Relief is on the way and it can’t come quick enough for allergy sufferers. It has been a brutal season so far with high level pollen counts, dust and smoke. Air quality has been very poor. Widespread rain, showers and storm will not only ease the situation for allergy sufferers but help get the bushfire situation under control and deliver temperature relief to those who hate the heat. Scattered showers will linger until Sunday.
