Councillors have unanimously voted to strip back the cost of parking in the Lismore Base Hospital precinct.
Patients and staff will now pay two dollars instead of five, for all-day parking on Dalziel Street.
“What we’re now going to be calling on is Lismore Base Hospital to fix up the problem that they’ve got with the car park behind us here that has 100 free car spaces in the mornings”
Council also voted to look at ways to reduce the cost of parking in other nearby streets.
