North Coast Catholic Priest, John Patrick Casey, accused of abusing three boys during the 1980’s, could face a second district court trial.
A jury found him not guilty of 15 charges, stemming from the alleged assaults, in August.
They failed, however, to reach a verdict on 11 other charges which may now be considered by a fresh jury, during a re-trial.
The matter returns to Sydney’s District Court for mention next week.
