A motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a car south of Tamworth on the Werris Creek Highway this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene 10 kilometres north of Currububula just after 1pm.
The vehicle was also reportedly alight.
The road was closed in both directions for some time while crash investigators examined the scene.
