A 47-year-old female paraglider is lucky to be alive, after plummeting 50 metres to the ground at Mount Borah.
Emergency services responded to the incident at Manilla, about 1pm today – discovering the woman had landed in a rocky area.
The patient was taken to the Tamworth Base Hospital with bruising and facial cuts.
