Newcastle Supreme Court today heard the woman, found guilty of being an accessory after the fact to the murder of a Central Coast teenager, lost her mother to cancer when she was just nine years old.
Relatives of Rachel Manevski were in court for the sentence hearing, with her grandmother saying the 22-year-old regrets her involvement in the death of Kieran Priestland.
His killer – Andrew Perkins – will be sentenced tomorrow.
Manevski’s hearing is due to continue in Sydney next month.
