While Tamworth Regional Council sent out a record number of rate notices today, 357 more than last year.
It’ll detail the size of the increased payment required, between $30 and $55 for the average resident.
It comes after the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal approved a rise last year.
It’ll see Council’s rates and charges income climb to $66 million for this financial year.
