Top seeded Australian squash player, Matthew Karwalski, has breezed through to the finals of the Newcastle Open at Cardiff, defeating Glen Hagin in straight sets.
It was age versus experience earlier in the day when former Australian Master, John Carroll took on 16-year-old Jacob Bird.
Experience won in the end, 63-year-old Carroll taking the win after five tough sets.
