Two north coast Nationals MPs have been appointed to the federal government’s new ministerial line-up.
The Member for Cowper, Luke Hartsuyker, who was dumped as Minister for Vocational Education and Skills in February, has been given the job of Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister.
Lyne MP, Dr David Gillespie, has also been rewarded with an appointment to the outer ministry, and will take on the role of Assistant Minister for Rural Health.
