A woman in her twenties was forced to tread water for around 20-minutes this morning, after reportedly being swept from rocks at Broken Head.
Both the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter and lifeguards from Byron Bay responded, after her friend raised the alarm.
The woman was found around 150-metres off the coast, and was taken to shore by jet ski.
