The Coffs Harbour community is counting the cost of the weekend storm which caused millions of dollars of damage to the city’s marina where a yacht sank and another was severely damaged over night.
Banana plantations, which were hammered by winds in excess of 100 kilometres per hour, have been flattened, some growers losing 75 percent of their trees.
