Two female mechanics are set to make Supercars history, when they take control of pit lane for Hunter motorsport driver Aaren Russell.
Russell has promoted Frances Buckley as top mechanic, with Bonnie Beard as her assistant.
They’ll start from the next race of the series in Darwin next month.
It’s the first time in Supercars history a team’s top two mechanics are women.
