A huge swell has been pulsing up the coast and there is more to come. It’ll get even bigger tomorrow with another surge on the way on the over the weekend. The swell is being driven by a large pressure gradient between a low over New Zealand and a high pressure system over Australia. The high is making for more chilly nights with frosts possible on the Tablelands followed by a mostly sunny, mild Wednesday ahead of rain on Thursday .
