and today family and friends farewelled Noel Harrison.
The all-round sportsman, became a household name throughout the 60s and 70s.
At Newcastle’s Christ Church Cathedral, Noel Harrison was remembered as a family man and former soldier who served during World War Two.
He was also well known for his involvement in many community organisations.
Noel Harrison was 93.
