A report is being prepared for the coroner, after a fatal motorcycle crash in Deepwater, near Tenterfield.
Around 4:15 yesterday afternoon, a 46-year-old man failed to negotiate a corner on Hicks Road and struck an embankment.
Sadly he died at the scene.
