A body has been found in bushland at Byron Bay, which police believe is that of Canadian national Natalie Perkins.
Police and SES volunteers were searching an area near Butler Street this morning, when they made the discovery.
The 36-year-old was last seen leaving a doctors appointment in Fletcher Street at Byron Bay, two weeks ago.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
