A man has been taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries, after being dumped by a large wave at Suffolk Park this afternoon.
The 40-year-old was body surfing when he hit his head on a sand bank.
He’s been taken to the Tweed Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
