CCTV TO BE CONSIDERED FOR WERRIS CREEK

Liverpool Plains Shire Council will discuss installing CCTV cameras in the Werris Creek CBD at its monthly meeting tomorrow.
The call follows a number of incidents over the past month, including a ram raid.
Police have requested the technology be used throughout the main street, following the success of a similar network in Quirindi.
Eight potential locations have been sourced, with the project expected to cost up to $60,000.
