Bendemeer’s Josh Hazlewood will make his first one day appearance for New South Wales this summer, in the Blues clash against Queensland tomorrow.
He replaces fellow fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who’s being rested by Cricket Australia.
It’ll be Hazlewood’s first match since the Ashes ended in August, with national coaches looking to manage his increased workload since becoming a Test regular last season.
The 24-year-old is now expected to play during the rest of the domestic one day series.
