WATER SKIER STILL CRITICAL AFTER GRAFTON TUMBLE

A Gold Coast water skier badly injured in a fall while competing in the Bridge to Bridge classic in Grafton is still in a critical condition.

The 27 year old from Coomera was one of two skiers being towed behind the Sydney boat Top Gun yesterday morning when he fell forward and somersaulted at high speed.

Several people in the large crowd who witnessed the accident swam out to help the stricken skier.

He’s now in Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital with extensive head, neck and internal injuries.
