Local councils will get a share in $75,000 of state funding, as part of a bid to tackle illegal dumping and littering in regional areas.
The funding forms part of a $465-million Waste Less, Recycle More initiative.
Increased surveillance and the identification of dumping hotspots will be part of the campaign, as well as public awareness and education.
