Gloucester Council has voted to meet with AGL for talks on re-establishing dialogue with the mining giant over its Waukivory project.
Talks between the two broke down earlier this year, following claims AGL withheld information about the detection of toxic B-TEX chemicals in flowback water.
A date for the meeting is yet to be set.
