Three people have been refused bail in Taree Local Court on drug supply charges following simultaneous raids on three homes in Taree yesterday.
Following extensive investigations, police from the Manning-Great Lakes arrested a 36-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man as part of Operation Block 2.
“It’s a significant arrest and disruption of the supply of heroin in the local area which is good for the community,”Manning-Great Lakes Police Insp Tony Power said.
Operation Block 2 was formed in January to target the supply of drugs in and around the Taree area.
